Following an established Soviet tradition, Belarus still has a state system of free higher education. So we really mean it when we say every ISS employee has a university degree, having completed 5 or 6 years of university curriculum with specialization in computer sciences.

Quality of Process

Having the best specialists alone does not yet guarantee best results. Methodology is also a key factor that ensures every customer's request and requirement is addressed most efficiently.

To attest its commitment to efficient workflow, ISS uses ISO-compliant methodology. The company was audited in November, 2002 and got the appropriate certificate confirming the ISO 9001:2000 compliance.

Our teams are also experienced and extensively use the Rational Unified Process methodology, and the Extreme Programming approach.

Quality of Communication

It is possible to co-work successfully on a software project only if effective communication is ensured between the customer and the offshore software vendor. ISS focuses on two central project communication issues: language proficiency and organized task statement/reporting.

All ISS project managers and programmers speak English and/or German well/fluently. Several managers spent some time studying in the USA and Germany. ISS also invests in language programs for its employees on a regular basis.

As communication facilities we can use email, phone, ICQ (or CypherGuard, a secure instant messenger). We can additionally utilize a proprietary web-system to centralize and organize all project communication.
